The Role

  • Support the Contracts Manager across a portfolio of projects, providing commercial and contractual assistance to Project Managers.
  • Administer head contracts and subcontract agreements in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.
  • Prepare, review, issue, and track subcontract packages, variations, extensions of time, and related correspondence.
  • Assist with cost control, forecasting, and budget tracking across multiple live projects.
  • Process subcontractor claims, progress claims, and payment schedules in line with contractual obligations and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract registers, cost reports, and project documentation.
  • Support Project Managers with procurement activities, including scope clarification, tender comparisons, and contract execution.
  • Assist in the assessment and preparation of variations, ensuring cost, time, and contractual impacts are clearly documented.
  • Monitor compliance with contractual requirements, insurance, security, and statutory obligations.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for internal reporting, audits, and commercial reviews.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth contract administration.
  • Identify potential commercial risks and escalate issues to the Contracts Manager as required.
  • Ensure all contractual communications are accurate, timely, and consistent with project and company standards.


About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Previous experience in a Contracts Administrator, Project Coordinator, or similar commercial support role within the construction industry.
  • Working knowledge of construction contracts, subcontract administration, and commercial processes.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously within a project delivery environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage contractual documentation and cost data accurately.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a project team while also managing tasks independently.

The Role

The Sustainability Advisor will support and lead sustainability and social procurement initiatives across both corporate operations and active construction projects. Working closely with project teams and reporting into the Compliance function, this role will help ensure strong environmental performance, alignment with client and certification requirements, and measurable social outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embed sustainability and social procurement requirements into construction delivery, procurement and QA/QC processes
  • Lead sustainability and social procurement initiatives across sites and offices (e.g., waste diversion, carbon reduction, water efficiency, biodiversity improvement)
  • Manage certification and reporting requirements including Green Star, IS Rating, NABERS and client-specific frameworks
  • Collect, review and validate sustainability data (waste, energy, water, materials) and prepare dashboards and reports

  • Support tenders and bids by developing sustainability methodologies, data inputs and value-driven proposals

THE ROLE:

Plan & Schedule: Revision of drawings, with a keen eye for detail. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of civil projects

Project Management: Daily site inspections, liaising with subcontractors and foremen. Procurement of goods and services necessary to complete a project. Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work is completed on time and to specification. Support project reporting, documentation, and cost tracking.

Safety: Safe Work Method Statements, revision and approval, ensure all site activities comply to company safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures. Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and risk assessments and drive a strong safety culture on-site

Site Management: Supervise daily site activities.

Technical Support: Provide expertise and ensure material use efficiency.

Quality Control: Conduct inspections and maintain documentation.

Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce safety procedures on-site.

Progress Monitoring: Track and report construction progress.

Problem-Solving: Address and escalate technical or logistical issues.

 

HOW YOU'LL CONNECT TO THE ROLE:
